Lab skills
There are tools that support labwork online.
- Labster: has many virtual stimulation labs that in a normal situation function as a preparation for on campus labwork, but might also be suitable for remote education. The lab can be added to Blackboard as a plug-in. Visit this page for more information and requesting Labster.
- Labbuddy: is designed to guide students through their real lab work without using simulations. It provides background information on different techniques and protocols and helps students to build their own experiments in Experiment Designer. Teacher questions or automatic feedback can be added. The Work Modus guides students through the practical lab work by providing, among others, instruction, videos, manuals, and timers. For more information contact Janine Geerling or visit this page for more information and requesting Labbuddy.
